About Us - BiographyAbraham Morgentaler, MDAbraham Morgentaler, MD was born in Montreal, Canada. He graduated from Harvard College in 1978, and from Harvard Medical School in 1982. Dr. Morgentaler completed his residency in 1988 from the Harvard Program in Urology, and has been on the faculty of Harvard Medical School since that time, where he is currently Associate Clinical Professor of Surgery (Urology). In 1999 Dr. Morgentaler founded Men's Health Boston, a center focusing on sexual and reproductive health for men. Dr. Morgentaler was the recipient of the New Investigator Award in 1994 granted by the American Foundation of Urological Disease. Dr. Morgentaler has published widely on the topics of male sexual dysfunction, hypogonadism, and male reproductive disorders. In addition to numerous publications in the urological literature, Dr. Morgentaler's work has appeared in The New England Journal of Medicine, The Lancet, The Journal of the American Medical Association, and Fertility and Sterility. He is also the author of the popular books The Male Body: A Physician's Guide to What Every Man Should Know About His Sexual Health (Simon and Schuster 1993), and The Viagra Myth: The Surprising Impact on Love and Relationships (Jossey-Bass/Wiley, October 2003). His latest book, Testosterone For Life: Recharge Your Vitality, Sex Drive, Muscle Mass, and Overall Health (McGraw-Hill), was published in November 2008. |
