Gerald Brock, M.D.

Gerald Brock is Professor, Department of Surgery, Division of Urology at the University fo western Ontario, ain t St. Joseph's Health Centre in London, Ontario Canada. He completed his Medical and Urology Degrees at McGill University in Montreal and subsequently did a two year fellowship in Neurourology at the University of California, San Francisco. He currently runs a large tertiary care erectile dysfunction clinic at St. Joseph's Health Care, where he sees between 2000-2500 new consults annually. In addition to his responsibilities of resident teaching, he runs a productive basic animal research lab evaluating the impact of disease on erectile mechanisms.

Dr. Brock is an active participant in professional associations, current chair of the Canadian Urology Association Scholarship Foundation, previous Chair of the Canadian Male Sexual Health Council and past chair of the Guidelines Committee of the CUA.

Dr. Brock is the author of over 130 peer reviewed publications, 23 book chapters as well as numerous abstracts. Over the past decade he has been invited to speak across Canada, the USA, Europe, Australia and Asia.

Dr. Brock's work in urology and erectile dysfunction is acknowledged by his role as Editor of the Chronicle of Medicine and Sexual Health, editorial board member of the Canadian Urology Association Journal and Journal of Sexual Medicine.
