Dr. Hossein Sadeghi-Nejad

Dr. Hossein Sadeghi-Nejad graduated Magna Cum Laude from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine where he was the recipient of the Goodwin Commencement Prize. He received his medical doctorate from the McGill University School of Medicine in Montreal, Canada and served as an Intern and Resident in General Surgery at the University of California in San Francisco. Dr. Sadeghi-Nejad completed his urological residency and fellowship training in Male Reproductive Medicine (infertility and erectile dysfunction) and microsurgery at the Boston University Medical Center under the auspices of Drs. Robert Krane, Irwin Goldstein, and Robert Oates.

Dr. Sadeghi-Nejad is Associate Professor of Surgery / Urology at the UMDNJ New Jersey Medical School, Chief of Urology at the New Jersey Veterans Affairs Hospitals, and the Director of the Center for Male Reproductive Medicine at Hackensack University Medical Center. Dr. Sadeghi-Nejad is a member of an American Urolological Association (AUA) international task force and is certified by the American Board of Urology . He is a member of numerous professional organizations including the American Urological Association, The Sexual Medicine Society of North America (SMSNA- committee chairman), and the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM). The International Society for Study of Sexual Medicine and the Journal of Sexual Medicine / Blackwell Publishing recently selected Dr. Sadeghi-Nejad to serve as the Chairman of the Industry Liaison Committee. Dr. Sadeghi-Nejad has served as the Scientific Program Chairman for the Sexual Medicine Society of North America conference and is a member of the Board of Directors for SMSNA. He also serves as Committee Chairperson for the International Society of Sexual Medicine (Ethics Committee), Sexual Medicine Society of North America (Audits Committee and Membership Committee) and the Society for Study of Male Reproduction (Web Development). He is a scientific reviewer for numerous peer-reviewed journals and serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Sexual Medicine. Dr. Sadeghi-Nejad has published numerous articles and book chapters in peer-reviewed journals and textbooks.
