Did You Know?

Female Ejaculation

Female EjaculationSome women ejaculate when they reach orgasm.

The experience is sometimes called “squirting” and experts estimate that it happens to 10% to 50% of women. For some, there’s just a little fluid. Others may ejaculate so much that they need a towel to keep the sheets dry.

What’s in the fluid? Women may worry that it is urine. And some women do leak some urine when they climax, just like they might when they sneeze or laugh. But studies of the fluid show that female ejaculation is different from urine.

Some scientists think it’s similar to a man’s semen – without the sperm, of course.
