Relaxation Technique Might Improve Arousal in Women

Feb 27, 2018

There is more research to be done, however. The study authors explained that their project involved a small group of women and did not have a control group (a group that received no treatment) to serve as a comparison. For this reason, the results cannot be generalized to all women.

In addition, the study did not include lesbian women because the films had been previously tested in research with heterosexual women. Future studies should be conducted to see whether autogenic training might alleviate arousal problems in women who have sex with women, the authors said.
