Fellowship Overview
The fellowship is supported by the Sexual Medicine Research Team (SMRT), an active clinical research program embedded within Rachel Rubin MD, PLLC. Fellows participate in all aspects of clinical research, including study design, IRB preparation, data collection, statistical collaboration, manuscript writing, and presentations at national meetings. Research focuses on female and male sexual dysfunction, genitourinary syndrome of menopause (GSM), menopause hormone therapy, recurrent urinary tract infections, pelvic pain, vulvar disorders, testosterone therapy, and sexual medicine education.
Fellows are expected to complete scholarly work during training, with opportunities to author manuscripts, present at national conferences, and collaborate on multicenter projects. The high-volume specialty referral practice provides a unique environment for translating important clinical questions into impactful research that advances the field of sexual medicine.
