Research Grants
The Research Grants Committee is responsible for managing the SMSNA grants program. It oversees the process of awarding grants to support research in sexual medicine. Key responsibilities include working with the SMSNA Executive Office to establish an annual timeline for grant offerings, reviewing and updating the website content, application materials, and scoring templates. The committee selects reviewers for each application, evaluates scores, and identifies proposed recipients. With committee consensus, it makes final recommendations to the Board for approval. Additionally, the committee manages other research fellowships, grant programs, or research registries as assigned by the Board.
