Humanitarian & Global Outreach
The Humanitarian & Global Outreach Committee of the SMSNA serves as an internal review body for the Urology Care Foundation (UCF) Humanitarian Endowment. This endowment supports efforts to improve prosthetic urological care in underserved communities by providing direct care, enhancing access to care, or supporting education and research. The committee's responsibilities include reviewing humanitarian grant applications, forwarding top applications to UCF, and promoting the outcomes within SMSNA. Additionally, the committee participates in the planning of the ISSM/SMSNA Sub-Saharan Africa Program in Oncosexology and oversees other global initiatives.
